Some weddings are beautiful. Some are fun. Some are the kind of thing you talk about for years — where the whole weekend had this energy that’s hard to name but impossible to forget. If you’ve been dreaming about a glamping wedding at Hutton Brickyard, this is the one that’ll show you exactly what it can look like.
Allie and Jeremy’s was all three.
Allie and Jeremy are the kind of couple who make you want to hug them the second you meet them. Down-to-earth, creative, and completely dialed into each other — they brought the kind of trust, clarity, and warmth that makes planning feel like friendship.
They didn’t just want a wedding. They wanted an experience. A weekend where every guest could unplug, connect, and genuinely feel the love — not just witness it. Something relaxed but elevated. Natural but never boring. Personal, full of surprises, and rooted in who they actually are as people.
And oh yeah — they were so down to play with the space.
They were a dream. Plain and simple.

You know that feeling when you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be?
That was this entire weekend.
A calm settled over the property from the second guests arrived Friday. They dropped their bags, grabbed a drink, and instantly switched to glamp mode. The weekend unfolded like a choose-your-own-adventure story — yoga in the morning, riverside walks, archery, spa appointments, vintage shopping in Kingston. Nobody was checking their phone. Nobody was thinking about work. Everyone was just… there.
Then came the wedding day. Sunny, breezy, with the Hudson River glittering behind everything like it was showing off. The whole celebration had that feeling of thoughtful planning and organic flow existing in the same space — no rush, no panic, no forced moments. Just good energy, great people, and a whole lot of heart.
Holy sht. This is ours.* — that’s what Allie said when she walked out for the first look. I’ve been doing this for nearly a decade and I still live for that moment.

Let’s talk about this venue, because it deserves its own moment.
Hutton Brickyard doesn’t just host a wedding — it becomes the wedding. An old brick manufacturing plant turned boutique glamp resort, it sits right along the Hudson River and holds onto every bit of its industrial bones. Exposed brick. Soaring pavilions. Riverside ceremony spots under century-old trees. A new boutique hotel. A spa with waterfront saunas. Cabins that make your out-of-towners feel like they’re on a vacation, not just attending a Saturday event.
The entire property is yours for the weekend. Zero sharing. Total creative freedom. And capacity for up to 300 guests — which, for a venue with this much personality and this much outdoor space, is genuinely rare.
As a planner, I love working here because you get real creative control and full vendor flexibility — but it’s not so bare-bones that you’re sourcing restrooms and power generators from scratch. It’s the sweet spot between wild and luxe. Between anything goes and it’s all taken care of. That balance is hard to find, and HB nails it.

Every element of this Hutton Brickyard wedding weekend was chosen with intention — from the welcome totes to the after party flip. This wasn’t décor for the sake of pretty photos. It was a curated experience from welcome bags to after party, and every detail told a story.
The Welcome Totes Jeremy’s sister designed the custom glamping welcome totes, and they were packed — weekend essentials, a hand-drawn map of the grounds, everything guests needed to feel oriented and taken care of from the moment they arrived. That’s the kind of personal touch that makes people feel like they were genuinely thought of. Not just invited.
The Color Story Peach, cream, sunny yellow, hints of soft blue — a palette that felt warm and summery without tipping into generic. Against the raw textures of brick and concrete, it popped. Florals by Atha Bold brought it to life with exactly the lushness it needed.
The Ceremony Under a towering riverside tree on the north lawn that gave just the right amount of shade and framed the Hudson perfectly behind them. Simple staging, enormous impact. This is what design as energy looks like — we didn’t need to do much, because the space and the people did the work.
Cocktail Hour We let it breathe. Guests flowed between Hutton Hall and the outdoor courtyard — exploring, chatting, finding the AC when they needed it, finding the breeze when they didn’t. Lounge furniture gave people permission to settle in. The bar stayed busy. The vibe was exactly right.
The Reception Ledgerwood Pavilion — massive, open-air, protected, with that perfect Hudson Valley breeze and zero rain-plan anxiety. The color palette carried through in the florals and tablescapes, warm candlelight softened the industrial edges, and it felt like a space that had been designed specifically for these two people. Even though we built it from scratch.
The After Party This is where we had the most fun. We flipped Hutton Hall into a full club scene — cocktail tables, moody color lighting, a DJ who actually read the room, and an after-hours playlist that had people barefoot by midnight. The same space that held cocktail hour earlier in the night became something completely different. That transformation is one of my favorite things about working at HB. The venue lets you do that. Most don’t.
No cookie-cutter moments. No template timelines. Just Allie and Jeremy, doing it entirely their way — and a team that knew how to make it real.

“Working with Lindsey and the Wildflower team was everything we hoped for and more. She understood our vision right away, helped us bring it to life — and then some — and made the entire process feel fun and stress-free. Our wedding weekend was exactly what we wanted: personal, meaningful, and completely unforgettable. We couldn’t imagine doing it without her.” — Allie & Jeremy

Weddings like this don’t just happen. They come to life because of vendors who show up with their full artistry, their full heart, and their full commitment to making something genuinely great. Huge love to everyone who made this weekend what it was:
Here’s what I want you to take away from Allie and Jeremy’s weekend: a wedding that feels like something — that has that specific energy where guests arrive as strangers-ish and leave as a community — doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens because someone thought about how the weekend would flow. How guests would move through the spaces. How the welcome tote would set the tone before the first vow was spoken. How the after party flip would keep the night going instead of letting it fizzle.
That’s the work. And it’s the work we love most.
