Hi, I’m Lindsey—and because I’m a born-and-bred New Yorker, I’m going to cut straight to the chase:

You could find a master wedding planning to-do list online, and get to work. You could spend hours upon hours searching for wedding inspo on Pinterest, and sifting through “best of” vendor lists, and trying to figure out what a real wedding budget should even look like.

And you know what? Your wedding would turn out fine.

But you’ll likely be spending the entire time worrying about the floral arrangements making it from the ceremony to the reception. And coordinating vendors. And the aesthetic of the decor. And the timing of cocktail hour. And the D.J.’s song choice.

And the… you get the picture.

You could plan your entire wedding down to the second— and things would still go wrong.
